Mark O’Rowe – Writer / Director

Mark O’Rowe is a writer and director.

His plays include From Both Hips (Fishamble Theatre Company, 1997), Howie the Rookie (Bush Theatre, 1999), Made in China (Peacock Theatre, 2001), Crestfall (Gate Theatre, 2003), Terminus (Peacock Theatre, 2007), and Our Few and Evil Days (Abbey Theatre, 2014).

He has also adapted several works, including Hedda Gabler (Abbey Theatre, 2015) and DruidShakespeare, an amalgamation of four of Shakespeare’s history plays (Druid Theatre Company, 2015).

Screenplays include Intermission (2003), Boy A (2007), Perrier’s Bounty (2009), and Broken (2012). He recently wrote and directed the film The Delinquent Season, which will be released in early 2018.
